Steve Brown
Steve qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant whilst working for Unilever a major FTSE 100 company in 1994, and has over 2 decades of experience at all levels of the finance function, including 10 years at FD level.
His voluntary sector experience spanning 20 years, involves a range of organizations and roles from trustee of a temporary church-run night shelter, to FD of a £40m+ turnover UK charity. Between 2002 and 2005 Steve was based in Kampala Uganda as East Africa Regional Finance Controller for the Lutheran World Federation a major international development NGO.
In 2008 Steve set up Accounting Solutions for Charities providing cost-effective outsourced financial management services for the UK Voluntary sector and is proud to include the Trust amongst his clients.
