Julie Utting
Julie is the Trust’s Communications Officer. She started working for the Trust in February 2006 as an intern and soon after became the Trust's Administrative Assistant.
As Communications Officer, Julie is responsible for managing the communications policy of the Trust. This involves editing the website, producing the monthly Fellows' Bulletin, e-newsletter, Annual Review, Alumni Profile Booklet and other materials. She also assists with the organisation of Trust events including the main Fellowship Programme, and is responsible for providing administrative support in the overall running of the Trust.
Julie graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in History and Politics in 2005. She has a Russian A-Level and, after graduating from university, stayed with a Russian family in St.Petersburg. Julie previously worked in the constituency office of Karen Buck MP (Regent's Park and Kensington North).
She volunteers for the National AIDS Trust (NAT), for Barnardo's, and is a member of the Oxfam Supporter Panel.
