David Muir
David Muir is the Director of Political Strategy and Special Adviser to the British Prime Minister, The Rt Honourable Gordon Brown MP.
Prior to working for the Prime Minister, David spent 15 years in the marketing communications industry. In that time he worked for Ogilvy and its parent company WPP plc in a variety of roles. During that time he published a best selling book on how brands build shareholder value, called "The Business of Brands".
David holds a 1st Class MA in Politics and Economics from the University of Glasgow and an MBA with Distinction from London Business School.
He is married and lives with his wife and son in the East End of London.
