Catherine Smith
Catherine Smith is a solicitor in private practice in Scotland undertaking court work including criminal law and family law. She studied History and Law at Glasgow University gaining an MA (Hons) and LLB and later gained her Diploma in Legal Practice at Strathclyde University.
She was very active in Glasgow University Union whilst at University and competed in numerous debating competitions around the world, including the Observer Mace, World Student Debating Championships, Yale and New York University Intervarsities.
Catherine is John Smith's youngest daughter.
