Welcome dinner at the Scottish Parliament with Scottish public figures
Academic Programme: 13th - 17th June, Edinburgh
First week of the Academic Programme - speakers include the Rt Hon George Reid, Professor Charlie Jeffery (University of Edinburgh), Judith Robertson (Head of Oxfam Scotland), Sir Sandy Crombie (Standard Life), and Donald MacLaren (Head of the Clan MacLaren)
Visit to the Scottish Parliament: meetings with Members of the Scottish Parliament, meeting with the Presiding Officer, and observing First Minister’s Questions
Visit to the Scottish Court of Session led by Trustee Lord McCluskey (former Solicitor General for Scotland)
Reception at the Scotland Russia Forum
Exploring Personal Leadership: 17th - 18th June, Edinburgh
Rev. Norman Drummond conducts workshops with the 2011 Fellows on leadership
Individual Professional Visits throughout UK: 20th - 29th June
Programme of individual attachments throughout the UK to parliamentarians, local government, voluntary organisations, academics and others, reflecting each Fellow's professional interests.
Academic Programme: 30th June - 1st July, London
London element of the Academic Programme, including workshops at the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) with Vice Admiral Charles Style CBE, a day at the Ministry of Justice with Justice Minister Lord McNally, and a tour of the UK Supreme Court. Speakers include Lord Falconer, Lord Kinnock, Nick Boles MP, Alastair Campbell and General Sir Mike Jackson.
Follow Up Conference for 2010 Fellows: 3rd July, London
Conference for 2010 Fellows to report on their Action Plans and share their achievements since taking part in the Fellowship Programme.
