Follow-up Networking Conference

Each John Smith Fellow produces an action plan at the end of the Programme outlining how lessons learned in the UK can be applied in their own countries.

We bring the Fellows back together for a follow up networking conference nine months after they return home, to review their achievements, exchange ideas and renew their commitment to reform. This conference is always a lively event held in one of the seven Fellowship countries. It provides an opportunity for the Fellows to showcase the many ways in which they have put their Fellowship experience into practice.

More Information

“In September I was upgraded to the position of senior consultant within Christian Democratic People's Party of Moldova. My new responsibilities include elaborating and supervising law drafts and initiatives, offering legal advice to Party members and the President, as well as supervising activities and a deeper involvement in foreign relations. The JSF Programme played a crucial role in my understanding of how a real democracy works and gave me some indispensable skills which made my vision broader, knowledge deeper and professional and career development easier.”
