Svitlana Zalishchuk

Svitlana is Director of Programmes at the Souspilnist Foundation. She manages two types of project - projects that seek to promote the European and Euro Atlantic integration of Ukraine and projects devoted to the development of civil society.
A large part of her work involves developing the public diplomacy of Ukraine in European capitals and encouraging active dialogue between Ukrainian and European NGOs. The Souspilnist Foundation also works regionally, promoting cohesion and cooperation between different areas of Ukraine.
In addition, Svitlana is Secretary of the National Commission for Freedom of Speech and Development of Information. She is responsible for organising and managing the activity of the Commission whose current focus is the establishment of a nationwide public broadcasting system in Ukraine, amongst other freedom of speech issues.
