The KRG is a region in transition. In this transition there is a widespread system of corruption which has caused a great deal of unrest among the population and undermines the rule of law. Amina would like to advocate transparency in the administrative of political affairs of the KRG. She believes that the professionalization of the civil service is a prerequisite for a successful democracy. Therefore, she aims to forward proposals in parliament of how to develop a more professional, independent administrative class in the KRG.
