Kuvatbek is currently working on an EC funded project in Tajikistan which is aiming to improve the livelihoods and incomes of the rural population in southern Tajikistan.
Kuvatbek is an Advisory Trustee of the Kyrgyz New Zealand Rural Trust. He is responsible for the monitoring and design of programmes and for their fundraising. Previously Kuvatbek was Deputy Team Leader, ‘Strengthening Livestock Communities in Mountain Regions’ Project, funded by the New Zealand Agency for International Development.
