Adylbek works at the Permanent Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Commission TRACECA as their Legal and Institutional Expert.

During 2008 - 2009, Adylbek studied Policy Studies (MSc) at the University of Edinburgh. At the time of the 2007 Fellowship, Adylbek was Executive Director of ‘Ferghana Valley Lawyers Without Borders' (FVLWB) a regional association of lawyers with members in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. FVLWB deals with legal aspects of issues in Ferghana Valley such as border crossing and customs rules, citizenship, and border disputes. Adylbek was responsible for the co-ordination and administration of all the organisation’s programmes and activities, in addition to managing a team of young, highly-qualified and enthusiastic lawyers. He represented the organisation in state bodies, NGOs and international organisations and compiled reports that were submitted to external organisations and international donors.
