Vusal Huseynov

In 2010 Vusal was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to read Public Administration (MA) at Harvard University.
Vusal is a Senior Advisor to the Anti-Corruption Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Anti-Corruption Commission is a central government office located within the Executive Office of the President. It has its own secretariat, and works as a specialised body representing the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government. The Commission formulates policy in the areas of combating crime and corruption, and co-ordinates the activities of four working groups.

Vusal advises on the National Anti-Corruption Strategy within the Secretariat of the Commission. At the same time he is the secretary of a working group dealing with the improvement of legislation, liaising with international organisations and experts, local NGOs, civil society and the media. He is also a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Council of Europe Group of Countries Against Corruption (GRECO). Vusal is a Lecturer on International Economics at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
