Kama is Programme/Finance Assistant for the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).
UNAIDS is a joint venture of the United Nations, bringing together the efforts and resources of ten UN system organizations to help prevent new HIV infections, to care for people living with HIV, and to mitigate the impact of the epidemic. With its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, the UNAIDS Secretariat works on the ground in more than 80 countries worldwide.

Kama contributes to project formulation and evaluation, and to the effective management and delivery of UNAIDS activities and programmes at country level.
She is also responsible for facilitating the work of consultants, advisors and experts and assists in establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with counterparts in the government, donor agencies and civil society in order to address emerging issues.
