Azer Aleskerov

Azer works for The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA). Via its monetary policy and banking supervision, the CBA works to ensure price stability and development and stability of the banking and payment systems.
Azer is Director of the Monetary Policy Department, one of the key departments at the CBA. As Director, Azer is directly involved in the formulation and implementation of monetary policy.

He is a member of a number of working groups and commissions that coordinate the economic policy of Azerbaijan. He is an author of over 100 articles on the problems of macroeconomic processes published in numerous journals and newspapers. Azer is an expert-trainer at Azerbaijan Bank Training Center.
