Manana Mananyan

Manana works for the ‘NGO Center’ Civil Society Development NGO. The goal of the NGO Center is to promote democracy through civil society development. Their website sites their objectives as to: 1. encourage citizen participation; 2. promote social justice through ensuring availability of resources; 3. support scientific research to track civil society dynamics; 4. promote civil society participation in anti-corruption processes.
Manana is Programme Manager of ‘Anticorruption Education in Armenia’ – a project funded by the Educational Development Center in Boston. Manana is also the Project Assistant for all activities of the NGO.
At the time of the 2007 Programme, Manana worked for the National Democratic Institute (NDI), a non-profit organisation which aims to strengthen and expand democracy worldwide. As Regional Co-ordinator of the Vanadzor office, Manana implemented various initiatives such as the Political Culture Strengthening Program aimed at engaging young people in the political process.
