Wafa Nimri is the Founder and Director of Write Pilot, a translation and communications company which fosters career development and company internationalisation..
After completing a degree in English Literature and Political Sciences Wafa spent eight years teaching English as a foreign language. It was whilst working as a teacher that she became involved in peace building activities and subsequently studied Conflict Transformation in Vermont, USA.
She began working for the Ministry of Information in Jordan in 2007 and has worked on knowledge management, communication and strategic planning - providing intellectual leadership technical support on ICT sector strategy and priority setting as well as preparing communication material ranging from speeches and reports to funding proposals.
Alongside these responsibilities Wafa has also been published in a range of media for her work on the crackdown of child labour practices in Jordan and on youth leadership.
Wafa’s Action Plan aims to tackle the issue of misinformation and poorly structured online tools to help those looking at company formation in Jordan. She believes that Jordan’s corruption problem is exacerbated by the lack of adequate communication material available online in both Arabic and English and that this can be combated by the development of online tools and the translation of necessary material.
