Farkhodjon is the Head of Strategic Planning at Korea Development Bank in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He has an MA in International Strategy and Economics from St Andrews University and experience working in both government institutions and banks in Uzbekistan. He has extensive experience in forming and implementing business strategies and goals in the financial sector.
Farkhodjon’s action plan is to improve transparency and accountability in the financial sector of Uzbekistan. He wants to develop a proposal to form part of Uzbekistan’s current reform process which will mean that financial institutions start sharing information with citizens related to central budget allocation and investment. He wants to develop greater responsiveness and accountability in government finance.
